The sun is shining, the snow is mellting and underneath we find cigarette butts, leftover firecracker and other trash. It's disgusting and unnecessary and we are sick of it. Instead of complaining, we'd rather do something about it
On Friday 20.03.2026 we're gonna spring clean the Friedrichstadt.
We registered our spring cleaning with the city of Dresden, which will provide garbage bags and trash pickers. Now we need you to support us.
Here is how you can help:
- show up at our shop and help clean around Berliner Straße
- show up to Garten nebenan (Wölfnitzstraße 6-10) and help
- start your own group and clean another corner of the Friedrichstadt
At the end of the day we will report our garbage bags to the city which will come collect them.
OK, but what about the big pieces that get dumped in the Friedrichstadt, regularly?
You're gonna need a car for that!
Additionally to cleaning and trash picking we will start a chipper cargo bike tour. We will collect what we can get and shlep it off to the dump.
